This amendment eliminates the appropriation of $25 million for the Department of Health to contract "for the management and delivery of pregnancy and parenting support services and wellness services to eligible clients" and replaces it with $12.5 million for "the Department of Health for the purpose of implementing the telehealth minority maternity care pilot program" and $12.5 million for "the Department of Management Services for the purpose of providing fertility services to full-time state employees." Oppose is Moms For America's position as this measure defunds a critical resource to prevent abortion and utilizes the funding for other unnecessary government functions.
